The TPD lifecycle views the necessary work from the programme perspective identifying the important stages that the programme must go through to achieve the business objectives.
The following tables summarise the key activities to be undertaken for the groups list below at programme start up, throughout the programme and at each stage in the lifecycle:
- Programme Management (including programme controls, programme level procurement, programme level finance)
- Programme Engineering (including systems & functional engineering elements)
- Project Management (for delivery of each design & implementation project within the programme including project controls, project level procurement, project level finance)
- Project Engineering (for delivery of each design & implementation project within the programme)
