Our expertise covers strategic assessment; management of business and safety critical signalling, communications, rolling stock and related technologies; ERTMS ETCS & GSM-R; systems integration; RAM; ISA; safety case production and expert witness services.

The majority of our work comes from either repeat business or direct referrals from existing clients. Currently, some 40% of the business is undertaken outside the UK. Our emphasis is on those opportunities which have the potential to make a real, sustainable difference to our client’s business.

TPD has used extensive experience taken from a wide range of projects to construct the TPD benchmark (Alignment Control Matrix (ACM)) , which its specialists use to identify major project challenges and areas of improvement, and which measures the Client’s capability to deliver to its technical and commercial commitments.

The ACM explores the primary effectiveness of the project management functions, and provides an in-depth appraisal of the system engineering and integration capabilities against the system requirements, budget and delivery timeframes.
